Step 5 Re-broadcast your message
With the new year, it is time to tell people about what you do again. Although it is gracious to send a new year greeting, that is expected. Why not try something else?
When was the last time you let your clients and prospects know about you and your business? Can you transmit your message with a different angle?
Personal branding needs a message consistent with the one you sent out last year. However, with new apps like Google+ you can broadcast to your different circles (different groupings of recipients) with unique words to talk to their specific viewpoints. For people in my video circle, I can broadcast the importance of personal branding when creating a script for a video, for my marketing circle the message can focus on improved communication of the personal brand, for clients whom I consult for I can talk about how personal branding can help with new venues like Google+. I think you get the idea.
How can you represent yourself on Facebook and how will that be different than information on your Inside919 or whichever Inside network activity? How can Twitter support these different audiences?
Answering these questions can go a long way in helping to work with your different clients based on market.
Time for you to get creative. Put that message out again but focus it for your audience.
And, by the way, Happy New Year. Good transmitting!
